Skill Development Council

The Skill Development Council Karachi is an employer led organization constituted under the National Training Ordinance – 1980 amended Ordinance – 2002 by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan for developing workforce to cater to the growing needs of the local industry for increased productivity and enterprise competitiveness.

The Council with the support of industry / employers has been very successful in catering to the needs of human capital by arranging need based training programmes for youth and already employed. The programmes included technical vocational training to educated youth to increase their employability and livelihood on one hand and skilled workforce to industry on the other. Whereas the professional development programmes are aimed to update and upgrade the knowledge and skills of already employed for improving their performance on-the-job.

We are offering number of training / professional development programmes to upgrade the knowledge and skills of youth and already employed. Programmes are arranged at the premises of SDC Karachi or private training institutions.
