Little River Learners/Preschool/Aftercare

A little about me and my background:

My love of teaching started at a young age when my mother started her own in-home daycare business (Tot Spot Little Learners). When I was 16 I got a job working for the Clark County Library District. I worked for the district for 15 years. During that time I went to school to get a bachelors degree in interdisciplinary social science studies. I then had two beautiful children of my own and decided to quit my job to spend more time with them. I decided to become a substitute teacher after quitting my job. I've been teaching as a substitute teacher for over a year now. I teach at both APA (American Preparatory Academy) and the Clark County School District. I love substituting but when I see students struggling, it breaks my heart. That's when I decided to open my own in-home daycare. I want to prepare and help toddlers get ready for big school. There's so many things they need to learn and many of them are behind. My goal is to take the experience/knowledge I've learned and apply them to my daycare. I have a wonderful set up with plenty of activities and toys to help them learn. Another obstacle I faced working forty hours a week/5 days was the hours. Not all of us parents work 7 to 3. Some of us work 9 to 6 or 10 to 7. I want to create a daycare where parents can bring there kids before work and pick them up and not have to think/worry about aftercare. As a side note, I've taken numerous courses in childhood development so I have knowledge on the different learning styles and techniques, etc.
