Helminthic Therapy

Helminthic therapy is a form of probiotic therapy, using helminths, a class of organism found in the intestines of an estimated 2.5 billion people worldwide.

It is based on sound science and is currently being researched in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Canada, the United States, and many countries in the EU.

Helminthic therapy is not an alternative medicine, it is an experimental therapy using benign infectious organisms instead of drugs, and is based on the Hygiene Hypothesis, or Old Friends Hypothesis.
