The fixed bivouac
Spread over a radius of 60 Km south of M'hamid el Ghizlane, fixed bivouacs are ideal places to discover the desert, near a village, a nomad camp near the sacred oasis Chegaga or more isolation at the heart of the Sahara dunes.
Composed of both fixed earthen structures and tents (khaïmas), they welcome groups and families in comfortable conditions, with sanitary rooms, common areas for dining and partying. Fire appreciated during cooler nights runs the place under the stars. The nomads like to enjoy the evenings around the campfire and share their songs, their culture, with people passing through.
Meeting place par excellence with the lifestyle of the nomads, the camp is also an environmentally friendly accommodation. It blends into the landscape, in quiet, silence and beauty. Powered by solar panels and limited water reserves, it invites everyone to become aware of their basic needs.
The whole world is found here, seduced by the authenticity of hospitality, simplicity of trade, the pleasure of walking as the once large caravans were the rhythm of the camels, the rhythm of day and night, not to mention legendary tea ritual prepared on the coals.
The nomad camp
The nomadic camp is another opportunity to experience homelessness in the heart of the desert, choosing to mount and dismount the camp at the discretion of the visited sites, as do thousands of years the nomadic families in search of pasture for their flocks. Accommodation is in tents so only in the most rudimentary conditions closer to the lives of local people.
Camel or 4x4 can transport all the material necessary to everyday life: mattresses, sheets, blankets. We provide installation of the camp and preparing meals. Most of the time, we invite musicians to join the trip, to our delight like the group that we welcome all year round.
