Welcome to Bagus Surf Camp! We are here to host you, whether you are visiting for a surf trip or hosting a yoga retreat we are here for you!

Our mission is simple: we want to offer you an unforgettable holiday and personal experience. Our team is passionate and committed to creating custom built experience for everyone - whether you’re a solo traveler, group of friends looking for an adventure or surf trip, hosting a retreat or you are just after that perfect family get away.

Bagus means good in Indonesian language! Having visited there a few times, Mourad took this as inspiration for the camp. We want to make sure your stay with us shows you how to live the good life. We want you to enjoy your time here with us, and leave feeling relaxed and refreshed, with good memories and full of new experiences and delicious food.

Mourad - I have over 10 years experience in tourism and surfing, and freelance photography. Having managed surf companies before, I felt like something was missing - there was just no passion in the work. So in 2015, I decided to go it alone and started Bagus Surf Camp; everything we do here comes from the heart. My home is your home and I welcome the travellers of the world to enjoy life the Bagus way. I love cooking and I can't wait to cook up a storm for you.

Location
Our beautiful house is located in the village of Tamraght, overlooking Taghazout Bay, just a 5 minute walk from Crocro beach, and an 8 minute walk to Devils Rock. It offers a peaceful and quiet location close to a variety of yellow-sand beaches and excellent surf spots - both beach breaks and point breaks. Here you are also not far from world-famous Anchor Point: a great place to surf, or to sit and watch others tackling the famous right- hander.

Set back from the main road of Tamraght, our relaxed location is a great place to come and chill and enjoy the hosting from our team. With a nice view of the mountains and the ocean from our rooftop terrace, this is definitely the location to enjoy an authentic taste of Morocco.

We are only a short drive/bus/taxi ride to the fishing and surfing village of Taghazout, where there is a great selection of restaurants, cafes and shops. Bagus is also just a 20 minute journey from the centre of Agadir, where you can find even more restaurants, shops, souks, supermarkets and various transport options to other parts of the country. All you need to do is just ask our team.

Accommodation
Bagus Camp is a spacious 4-story house, sleeping 16 people in total across 2 of the floors. We have two rooms that sleep 4 in each, two twin rooms and two double rooms. All the rooms are decorated with authentic Moroccan style, furniture is designed for your comfort, and we provide towels for all our guests. There is a bathroom on each floor (4 toilets and showers in total) and free wifi in the communal areas of the camp.

Our downstairs Berber salon offers sofas for you to put your feet up and relax, a projector for movie nights and a library and games centre. Upstairs, we have another chill-out area with sofas and a breakfast kitchen space for guests, which leads onto our outside dining area and communal rooftop terrace - a great place to finish the day watching the stunning African sunset.

Our small garden downstairs provides another outside space for everyone to relax in. We also have a downstairs kitchen where we cook our guests delicious meals, and an office where you can find out anything you need. The whole house has a Moroccan influence and small touches that make your stay even more comfortable.

At Bagus, we want to make sure there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay. That’s why two of our floors are dedicated spaces for guests to sit and socialise away from their rooms. Our friendly onsite host is available 24/7 so there is always someone around to answer your questions or have a chat with!

What we offer
Bagus has a range of options to suit the kind of holiday you want. We can create customised packages for you!
- We can arrange surf lessons for you, and can also do surf guiding. Or, we can just give you our tips and knowledge of the best surf spots and leave the rest up to you!
- We can organise car hire for you, so that your trip is entirely in your hands.
- We offer tasty and healthy breakfasts and delicious evening meals that leave everyone full and happy at the end of each day.
- We can also offer yoga lessons on our roof terrace, with a range of yoga styles available.
- We can advise on other things to do in the surrounding area, or help arrange excursions to nearby places such as Paradise Valley, the souk, and also to a Moroccan hammam.
-We also host yoga and other types of retreats, so if you are interested we would love to hear from you.
